Croatian logistics provider ENNA Logic has confirmed the acquisition of five Siemens Vectron multi-system locomotives. These new locomotives are expected to be delivered in the spring of 2027. The investment is a strategic move to increase ENNA Logic's operational capacity and agility within the European rail freight market.
For freight forwarders and operations managers, this expansion by ENNA Logic signifies a potential increase in available rail capacity, particularly for routes involving Croatia and its neighboring countries. Enhanced capacity and modern, multi-system locomotives can lead to more reliable scheduling and potentially improved transit times, especially for intermodal shipments traversing different electrification systems. This could offer greater flexibility in routing and better options for shippers looking to move cargo by rail in the region.
