D-TEC has announced the development of a new steerable Vacuumliner, designated FV-VAC, which is engineered for the transportation of substantial quantities of liquids and other vacuum-loaded goods. This new trailer is intended to provide transport operators with greater agility, improved access to difficult-to-reach sites, and overall operational efficiency. The official introduction of the FV-VAC is planned to take place at the Road Transport Expo (RTX) 2026 in the United Kingdom.
For freight forwarders and logistics professionals, this development signifies a potential improvement in the inland transport of bulk liquids and specialized vacuum cargo. Enhanced maneuverability could lead to more efficient delivery schedules and reduced operational complexities, especially for industrial clients located in areas with restricted access. This could translate into more reliable lead times and potentially lower costs associated with specialized handling or transshipment.
