CNC has announced an upgrade to its Japan Thailand Vietnam Service (JTVS), focusing on enhancing schedule reliability and strengthening intra-Asia connectivity. The improved service features a streamlined port rotation designed to offer more consistent weekly connections between key Asian markets.
This service enhancement is a strategic move to address the ongoing demand for reliable shipping solutions within the intra-Asia trade lanes. By optimizing the port calls, CNC aims to minimize potential delays and provide a more predictable service for its customers.
For freight forwarders and shippers, this means greater certainty in planning their logistics operations. Improved schedule reliability can lead to better inventory management, reduced demurrage and detention costs, and more efficient supply chains. The enhanced connectivity across Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam will also offer more stable routing options for cargo moving between these countries.
The updated port rotation includes calls at Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, Kobe, Busan, Gwangyang, Kaohsiung, Chu Lai, Laem Chabang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
