Brussels Airport has begun the construction of a new 14,000 square meter second-line logistics facility located within its dedicated cargo zone. This project is a key component of the airport's ongoing program to modernize and enhance its overall logistics infrastructure. The new development is anticipated to be completed in 2027 and will offer additional warehouse and office capacity.
This expansion is specifically designed to accommodate the growth of long-standing partners, including Yusen Logistics and APA, enabling them to expand their operations at the airport. For freight forwarders and operations managers, this new facility at Brussels Airport signifies a potential increase in warehousing and operational capacity, which could lead to improved efficiency and faster processing times for air cargo shipments through the hub. The added space may also support future growth in cargo volumes and provide more flexibility for logistics providers operating in the region.
