ATH Trading has announced that its bunker tanker, ATH Lemba, with a capacity of 7,000 cubic meters, has recommenced marine fuel supply operations along the Angolan coastline. The vessel returned to service on June 3rd, following a period of scheduled maintenance performed in a dry dock facility located in Walvis Bay, Namibia.
During the ATH Lemba's absence for maintenance, ATH Trading maintained its bunkering services by deploying its 4,857 cbm tanker, ATH Catamba. This ensured an uninterrupted supply of marine fuel to vessels operating in the region. ATH Trading, established in 2021, began its bunkering activities along the Angolan coast in 2022, with the ATH Catamba joining its fleet in November 2025.
For freight forwarders and vessel operators, the return of the ATH Lemba enhances bunkering capacity and reliability in the Angolan region. This increased availability of marine fuel can contribute to more stable vessel schedules and potentially competitive pricing for bunker services, reducing the risk of delays related to fuel procurement.
