Neptune has informed customers about a modification to its shipping schedule for the Auckland to Norfolk Island route. The westbound call for Voyage 2604W, originally planned from Auckland to Norfolk Island, will now be postponed. This deferral is a direct consequence of a specialized heavy lift voyage that is scheduled to take place at Norfolk Island during July.
For freight forwarders and shippers with immediate cargo requirements from Auckland to Norfolk Island, Neptune is offering an alternative solution. Urgent shipments can be consolidated and routed through Brisbane, where they will be loaded onto Voyage 2605E, providing an earlier departure option. All other existing bookings for the affected voyage will be automatically transferred to a subsequent sailing.
