Durand Richard Naidoo, the CEO of Linsen Nambi Group, a diversified maritime company involved in bunker vessel operations, marine surveying, and shipbroking, has been appointed to lead this new chamber. The establishment of this body addresses a perceived gap in Durban's maritime landscape, as the existing Durban Port Forum primarily focuses on resolving operational issues rather than broader industry development and policy coordination.
