BW LNG Orders Two New LNG Carriers from HD Hyundai Samho

BW LNG, the gas shipping arm of the Singapore-based BW Group, is reportedly the buyer behind a recent order for two new large liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers. These vessels are being constructed at HD Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries in South Korea. Each newbuilding will have a capacity of 174,000 cubic meters and is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2026.

This order signifies BW LNG's continued investment in its fleet, aiming to meet the ongoing demand for LNG transportation. The company is a significant player in the global gas shipping market, and such expansions are common as energy markets evolve.
