MCT is scheduled to present its latest RMO-tank trailer, specifically engineered for milk collection and transport, at the IAA Transportation 2026 event in Hannover. This custom-built trailer boasts a substantial tank volume of 36,500 liters. Key operational features include a maximum wheel articulation of 31 degrees, enhancing maneuverability, and an integrated electric pumping system that can load approximately 1,700 liters of milk per minute. The development of this specialized trailer was a collaborative effort with Romex.
For freight forwarders and logistics operations managers involved in the dairy sector, this new trailer signifies potential improvements in efficiency for milk collection and long-haul transport. The increased loading speed could reduce turnaround times at farms and processing plants, while the larger capacity might optimize route planning by allowing more milk to be transported per trip. Enhanced maneuverability could also benefit operations in rural or confined areas, potentially lowering operational costs and improving schedule reliability for time-sensitive dairy logistics.
