K. Ovedevest Transport has recently put into service an innovative tilting container Long-Heavy Vehicle (LZV), a collaborative development by Van Zandwijk Transportmaterieel and HTS/NCH. This custom-built vehicle is designed to transport either a single 40ft container or a 20ft container that can be hydraulically tilted at the delivery location. The primary purpose of this design is to streamline the unloading process for bulk goods, eliminating the need for separate tipping equipment at the destination.
This new LZV concept was specifically developed at the request of K. Ovedevest Transport to meet their operational requirements for efficient bulk material handling. The ability to tip containers directly on-site offers significant logistical advantages, particularly in scenarios where traditional unloading infrastructure is limited or unavailable.
