UAE cargo airline SolitAir has commenced a new airfreight service to Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP) in Romania. This strategic expansion establishes Bucharest as the second European destination within the Dubai-based carrier's network. The airline announced the new route via a LinkedIn post, emphasizing its role in strengthening trade corridors between the Global South and European markets.
For freight forwarders and shippers, this new service translates into enhanced air cargo capacity and more direct routing possibilities for goods moving to and from Romania. The increased connectivity is expected to support growing trade volumes, potentially offering more competitive rates and improved transit times on this lane. It provides an additional option for logistics planning, particularly for time-sensitive or high-value cargo.
