Frank's primary responsibility will be to identify, evaluate, and develop potential biomethanol production sites across the US, collaborating with Perpetual Next's global team and local industrial partners.
This move signifies Perpetual Next's commitment to scaling up its biomethanol capabilities and tapping into the growing demand for sustainable marine fuels. For freight forwarders, the increased availability of biomethanol in the US could contribute to a more diversified and greener bunker fuel supply, potentially influencing future vessel routing and carrier choices as more methanol-enabled ships enter service.
