Hanseatic Global Terminals Latin America has announced significant leadership changes at two of its regional terminals. Effective September 1, Mauricio Ortiz will assume the role of general manager at Florida International Terminal (FIT). Concurrently, Cristián Ortega will become the general manager for Terminal Marítima Mazatlán (TMAZ).
For freight forwarders and logistics professionals, these leadership changes at key port terminals could potentially influence operational efficiencies and service levels. New management often brings fresh perspectives on terminal operations, technology adoption, and customer service, which might lead to adjustments in vessel turnaround times, gate efficiency, or communication protocols. Forwarders should monitor any announcements from these terminals regarding operational changes that could impact cargo flows and scheduling.
