FL Technics has officially launched its new heavy maintenance facility at Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ), marking a significant expansion of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capabilities in the Caribbean. This state-of-the-art hub, developed through a US$70 million joint investment with Grupo Puntacana, features five bays and spans over 20,000 square meters. It is specifically designed to accommodate heavy maintenance checks for Airbus A320ceo and Boeing 737 family aircraft.
This new facility represents the first heavy maintenance base in the Dominican Republic, addressing a growing demand for MRO services in the region.
