China has unveiled the "Blue Sea Navigator," an advanced all-electric, self-propelled vessel specifically designed for deep-sea cable-laying operations. This vessel is intended for use in offshore power infrastructure projects, marking a significant step in marine engineering capabilities.
The design for the "Blue Sea Navigator" was developed by the Marine Design and Research Institute of China, a Shanghai-based subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corp. The construction is being carried out by Qidong Xiangyu Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering in Jiangsu.
