SolitAir has inaugurated its scheduled cargo operations connecting Dubai World Central (DWC) with Sofia Airport (SOF). This new service represents the airline's initial foray into the European Union market. The launch follows SolitAir's successful acquisition of ACC3 certification, which is mandatory for air carriers transporting cargo into the EU, ensuring compliance with stringent European aviation security standards.
For freight forwarders and shippers, this new route provides a direct air cargo link between the UAE and Bulgaria, facilitating trade flows into the EU. It offers a new option for air freight capacity and potentially improved transit times for goods moving between the Middle East and Southeast Europe.
