On July 6, 2026, Korean Register (KR) spearheaded the world's first shipboard pilot demonstration of MobED (Mobile Eccentric Droid), an autonomous mobile robot platform developed by Hyundai Motor and Kia. The trial was conducted aboard the multipurpose vessel HYUNDAI DUBAI, which was berthed at CJ Logistics Jeokhyeon Pier. This initiative involved collaboration with HMM, HMM Ocean Service (HOS), and Gosung Engineering.
