UAE cargo operator SolitAir has recently commenced its first charter cargo service to Kyrgyzstan. The new route connects Dubai World Central (DWC) with Manas International Airport (FRU), located near the capital city of Bishkek. This addition expands SolitAir's presence in Central Asia, making Kyrgyzstan its second market in the region. The carrier previously established services to Almaty and Astana in Kazakhstan.
For freight forwarders and operations managers, this new air cargo service offers an additional direct option for shipping goods between the UAE and Kyrgyzstan. It could potentially enhance capacity and improve transit times for cargo moving to and from Central Asia, providing more flexibility in routing and potentially impacting air freight rates positively due to increased competition or direct service availability.
