Delta Cargo has chosen CargoAi to power its digital booking platform, aiming to accelerate its digital transformation. This partnership will provide more than 30,000 freight forwarders with real-time access to air cargo rates and available capacity, enabling instant eBooking functionalities. The integration also supports direct connections with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
The initial phase of this rollout will cover 15 key markets, offering a range of services including General Cargo and Express products. Notably, the platform will also handle specialized shipments such as lithium batteries, and facilitate allotment bookings and Built-Up Pallet (BUP) support.
For freight forwarders and operations managers, this development means improved efficiency in securing air cargo space and pricing. The real-time access to Delta Cargo's offerings through CargoAi can streamline the booking process, reduce manual inquiries, and provide greater transparency. This digital enhancement is expected to simplify the booking of various cargo types, including sensitive goods like lithium batteries, and optimize capacity utilization for both general and express shipments.
