Baltic Hub Container Terminal, situated within Poland's Port of Gdańsk, has secured a 30-year lease for a new 37-hectare plot from the port authority. This agreement facilitates the development of Terminal 3, a significant expansion designed to enhance the terminal's intermodal freight capabilities. The project aims to nearly double the terminal's current capacity, supporting increased cargo volumes and improving the efficiency of rail connections.
This expansion is part of a broader strategy to strengthen Gdańsk's position as a key logistics hub in the Baltic Sea region. The long-term lease underscores a commitment to sustained growth and investment in infrastructure that supports both sea and land transport modes.
