A new logistics service provider, Aventra, has taken over the activities of the insolvent company. This acquisition is significant as it ensures the continuation of the business and, crucially, the retention of the majority of Betz International's approximately 140 employees.
For freight forwarders and operations managers, this development indicates stability in a segment of the German road transport market. The continuity of Betz International's services under the Aventra brand means that existing routes and capacity might remain available, preventing potential disruptions that a full liquidation would have caused.
