UK-headquartered transport engineering and heavy-lift expert Allelys has augmented its specialized fleet by adding a new girder frame with a 250-tonne capacity. This latest acquisition marks the tenth such frame in Allelys' transport arsenal, significantly boosting its capabilities for moving exceptionally large and heavy industrial components. The design and construction of this advanced frame resulted from a collaborative effort between Allelys and manufacturers Greiner and Goldhofer.
For freight forwarders and operations managers, this expansion means increased options for handling oversized and project cargo within the UK and potentially Europe. The addition of a new 250-tonne capacity girder frame directly addresses the demand for transporting heavy-lift items such as transformers, generators, and industrial modules. This enhanced capacity can lead to greater flexibility in project planning, potentially reducing lead times for specialized transport and offering more robust solutions for complex logistics challenges involving super-heavy loads. It also signals Allelys' commitment to investing in high-capacity equipment, which is crucial for managing large-scale infrastructure and energy projects.
